Welcome to the 2023 Senior Club Championship at Parry Sound Golf & Country Club. This is a 36-hole stroke play tournament played over 18 holes on each of two successive Mondays. The competition is open to PSGCC members 55 years of age or older. Competitors are divided into men’s and ladies’ divisions, and subdivided by age, with players 75 and over eligible for the Super Seniors divisions.

The entry fee is $15.00. The deadline for entries is midnight on Thursday, August 10th . Those wishing to compete in the Super Seniors divisions must so declare at the time of entry. Players compete in one division only.

The tournament is played from tee times at 10-minute intervals beginning at 8:00 am both days. In each division, players compete in flights determined by the number of entries and individual handicaps. Groupings and tee times both days are determined by staff based on player flights and standing. Tournament draws, results and other information are available by clicking on the menu items above.

The Senior Men’s division plays from the white tees. Senior Ladies, and both Super Senior divisions play from the red tees. The 2023 Senior and Super Senior Club Champions will be the two men and two women who score the lowest 36-hole gross score in their respective divisions.

Only players tied for a division championship will take part in a playoff, if required at the end of regular play. The playoff holes will be determined by the Head Professional. All other ties will be broken by score analysis.

There will be a few prizes in the form of pro shop vouchers allocated to each flight. We thank our sponsors – KPMG and BrokerLink. There will also be a skins competition each day in each division, for which the entry fee is $20.00.

No food is included for this event, so please feel free to order something from our menu if you wish.

Please hand in your signed scorecard immediately following your round. Verify with your playing partner after each hole is completed that your scores are correct. There will be a small prize-giving ceremony on the second Monday afternoon, after the last groups are in and all scores have been verified.

Good luck to all competitors.
